Marketing Tips for our Affiliate Programs - AffiliateInsurance.com
Optimize Your Web Site
While optimizing your web site may seem to be an obvious first step, the majority of web sites on the internet still do not follow basic steps such as:
- Get rid of frame pages. Search engines do not like them.
- Get rid of movies, music, animation. Same reason plus many people still use dial-up that is slowed down by the fancy stuff.
- Be sure that your pages are populated with key work phrases that tie in with the theme of each page.
- Do not go over two or three directories deep with your pages.
- Use no more than six or seven words in your title tag.
- Resist placing dozens of words in your keyword meta tags.
Prominently Promote Your Affiliate Programs
Because you are offering valuable, useful benefits to your members and visitors, don't be hesitant to promote them on your site. Do so tastefully with text links within your content links, mention the products within related articles or sections of your site and place a quality banner here and there.
Be Sure To Mention Our Donations to Your Organization
If you are an association, a non-profit organization or a charity, be sure to mention that we are donating a portion of the proceeds to your organization. People like helping while they are benefited at the same time.
Offline Marketing
If your organization publishes a newsletter, promote our programs with an advertisement and, again, mention that your organization benefits with each purchase. Depending upon the mission of your group, you might choose to work face-to-face with your community distributing a free discount prescription card or information about the discount medical plan.
Six Degrees
Remember the Six Degrees of Separation? If you simply mention the programs to everyone you know and help them to remember to mention them, then your affiliate program will blossom quite well.
Remember the Dual Goals
We at AffiliateInsurance.com believe in the Golden Rule for all...do unto other as you would have other do unto you. If you and we help those that need our help with the valuable benefits that we offer, then your stipends and our business will indeed be fruitful.
